Türksat attended the 74th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2023) organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), one of the world's leading space defense organizations with 407 members in 71 countries.
The 74th International Astronomical Congress (IAC 2023) was organized by the International Astronautical Federation, one of the world's leading space defense organizations with 407 members in 71 countries, including the world's leading space agencies, space and satellite companies, research institutions, associations, institutes and museums. It started in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Türksat participated in the organization, which will welcome visitors between 2-6 October and bring together all global space actors, with stand number 114.
Türksat General Manager Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, Türksat Deputy General Manager for Satellite Services Dr. Selman Demirel, our managers and experts attended. In the organization, where high-level speakers and guests will attend, commercial negotiations will be held regarding the capacity supply that will arise with Türksat's 5 active satellites, as well as the national communications satellite Türksat 6A, which will be put into service next year. During the organization, it is planned to hold talks about Türksat's consultancy services on satellite production, as well as R&D products and the PeycON family of domestic satellite antennas.
At IAC 2023, where the Türksat stand attracted great attention, the Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, visited the Türksat stand and our Deputy Chairman, Mr. Dr. He met with Ali Taha Koç and our General Manager Mr. Hasan Hüseyin Ertok.
