Türksat exhibited its domestic and national products at Satellite 2023, one of the world's leading satellite events, bringing together many companies providing satellite services at international level.
The world's largest satellite manufacturers and satellite operators met at Satellite 2023, held in Washington, the capital of the USA. The event, which has been determining the direction of the industry by bringing together senior executives, engineers, government officials and commercial customers from the satellite technologies industry for more than thirty years, discussed the future of the industry and new business opportunities.
Demirel: "The heart of the space industry"
Türksat Satellite Services Deputy General Manager Selman Demirel said that they represented Turkey at the exhibition, analysed the developments in space technologies and introduced their products. Describing Satellite 2023 as "the heart of the space sector", Demirel said, "It is an event where the technological developments in the space sector are discussed and decided."
Demirel stated that Türksat is Turkey's only satellite operator and that it currently provides services in 3 different orbits with 5 communication satellites.
Explaining that they introduced Türksat 5A and Türksat 5B satellites at the fair, Demirel said that these two satellites are equipped with the latest technology, have an electric propulsion system and a serious communication capacity. Demirel said that they also introduced antenna solutions in addition to these satellites, and added: "We held meetings with many different companies. There was an intense interview traffic with companies related to the services we provide."
PeycON Antenna Family introduced
Türksat, which took part in the fair with the PeycON Antenna Family, which are SOTM (Satcom On The Move) antennas, exhibited its domestic and national products HidrON, TerrON and AerON, as well as its backpack Manpack solution MicrON.
