Izmir was the third stop of TEKNOFEST, the world's largest Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, after Istanbul and Ankara.
Türksat exhibited its local and national products at stand number A-15 at Teknofest Izmir, which was organized under the leadership of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The festival was attended by Türksat Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Kemal Yüksek, Türksat General Manager Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, Cable Services Deputy General Manager Ahmet Selami Söğüt, Türksat Satellite Services Deputy General Manager Dr. Selman Demirel and Türksat Inspection Board Chairman Mustafa Çavuşoğlu attended.
At the Türksat stand, which attracted great interest from students and citizens, Türksat Kids Club hosted child visitors for the second time. Children participated in bag painting and model workshops at the club. Türksat brought together young people who are interested in technology and space with the "Space Corridor", "VR Türksat Satellite and Space Tour" and "Learning-Based Test Playground".
The huge Türksat 4B model and the entertaining Kahoot Quiz Competition exhibited in the static area attracted great interest from the citizens at the Türksat stand.
The Festival, which started at Izmir Çiğli Airport on September 27, 2023, will continue until October 1. The festival will include technology and entrepreneurship competitions, air shows, air and land vehicles exhibition, educational workshop activities, vertical wind tunnel, simulation experience areas, "Refik Anadol Machinery Memories: Space" Exhibition, planetarium screenings and stage shows.
