A strategic collaboration agreement was signed between Türksat A.Ş., one of the world's leading satellite operators, and Etisalat Afghanistan, a prominent telecommunications provider, during the GITEX Global Technology Expo. The agreement, signed by Türksat A.Ş. Deputy General Manager Dr. Selman Demirel and Etisalat's Chief Commercial Officer Abdullah Gaber, aims to enhance internet and GSM capabilities in the region using Türksat 5B satellite's powerful capacity.
The agreement focuses on significantly improving satellite connectivity in Afghanistan, ensuring reliable and high-speed services for both residential and corporate customers. By leveraging Türksat's advanced satellite technology, Etisalat Afghanistan will expand network access, particularly in remote and underserved areas. The partnership will enable more Afghan citizens to access essential services like internet, voice, and data communication. Additionally, the agreement supports critical infrastructure improvements, including education and healthcare.
