A strategic cooperation agreement aimed at providing Turkish Airlines (THY) flights with unlimited, seamless, and faster internet connectivity was signed by Türksat CEO Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, THY Chairman of the Board Ahmet Bolat, and THY CEO Bilal Ekşi.

During the Farnborough International Airshow in the UK, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Türksat, THY, and certified aviation product provider TCI Aircraft Interiors. The agreement sets the stage for Türksat to deliver satellite internet services to THY aircraft, enabling free and unlimited internet access for all passengers.

The partnership, signed by Türksat CEO Ertok, THY Chairman Bolat, and THY CEO Ekşi, will expand THY’s in-flight connectivity (IFC) systems to the entire fleet. Starting at the end of 2025, the agreement will see THY’s existing aircraft fleet upgraded with new IFC technologies. Türksat’s high-speed internet will extend THY’s current IFC service, currently available on part of its fleet, to cover all aircraft.

With this agreement, THY will be able to offer its passengers free, unlimited, and faster internet services across its entire fleet, marking a significant milestone in enhancing the in-flight experience.
