The 73rd International Astronautical Congress, organized annually by the IAF (International Astronautical Federation), held in Paris on 18-22 September 2022. This year's congress was held with the theme of “Space for All”. Representatives of the global space industry and research & development centers from space technology manufacturers, scientists, astronauts, government representatives, government and non-governmental organizations came together at the congress.
On the first day of the congress, in the stand area of Türkiye, where Turkish organizations and companies are located, the delegation consisting of Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih KACIR, Turkey's Ambassador to Paris, Ali ONAER, Deputy of AK Party, Zeynep YILDIZ, and President of Turkish Space Agency (TUA), Serdar Hüseyin YILDIRIM, have been informed about Türksat's satellite fleet, current projects, products & services by Satellite Programs Director, M. Mehmet NEFES, and Satellite Control Director, Dr. Ümit Cezmi YILMAZ.
Also, on the evening of the first day of the congress, a reception was held at the Turkish Embassy in Paris with the presence of local and foreign participants within the scope of IAC 2022. Within the scope of the reception in which Türksat delegation, M. Mehmet NEFES, Ümit Cezmi YILMAZ and Fatih GEREDELİ, also took part, Mr. YILDIRIM, Mr. KACIR and Mr. ONAER made speeches and expressed their efforts and wishes for the congress to be held in 2025 (IAC 2025) in Istanbul.
During the congress held between 18-22 September 2022, visitors who visited the TÜRKSAT stand were informed about our company's satellite fleet, current projects, products, and trainings & satellite consultancy services.
IAC 2023 — International Astronautical Congress will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan between 25-29 September.
