As part of the ‘Air for the Future’ sapling planting campaign launched throughout Turkey by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, a planting ceremony took place at Türksat Gölbaşı headquarters on the date of 11 November 2019.
With the cooperation of the Communication Trade Union and Türksat, a sapling planting ceremony was organized in efforts to establish our Türksat 15th Year Commemorative Forest. Türksat CEO Cenk Şen along with company executives, union officials, and Türksat employees participated in the event.
In his speech, Şen recalled the sapling planting ceremony that took place three years prior and continued his speech, “The best thing we can do for our children is to plant trees in the environment we live in. We will continue our planting activities in Türksat. We will contribute to this effort. We will add beauty to Türksat’s beauty.”
Şen extended his appreciation to the individuals who made the event possible and later took a photo with the employees to commemorate the day.
