Türksat A.Ş. participated in the Satellite 2016 fair which was organized this year at the Gaylord National Convention Center between March 7 and 10, 2016. Türksat A.Ş. took its place at the stand number 101 at the fair which attracted a number of companies in the international level.

Türksat A.Ş. General Manager Prof. Dr. Ensar Gül, Deputy General Managers Cemal Tunalı and Şenol Gülgönül attended the fair held at the Washington Convention Center.

Taking its place at the stand number 101 during the fair held at the Gaylord National Convention Center, Türksat A.Ş. promoted services carried out in satellite communications and through its new communication satellites Türksat 4A and Türksat 4B. Visitors showed great interest in the Turkish stand during the fair participated by more than 350 companies from 150 different countries.

“We claim to be a global satellite services operator”

Speaking to the Anatolia News Agency (AA) during the fair, Deputy General Manager Tunalı said that Türksat participated in the fair within the framework of its initiative to open up to global markets adding that:

“Türksat has the claim to become a global satellite operator. This is not the only place where we make public our goal to make this claim come true. Our team members are currently present at the CABSAT fair organized in Dubai.  So, we have been participating in this activity which is the largest traditional fair of the sector for the last two years.”

Türksat and Inmarsat have signed a cooperation agreement

A strategic cooperation agreement has been signed between Türksat and Inmarsat, a world leader corporation in the field of mobile satellite communication services.  This agreement will allow Türksat to have access to providing mobile satellite services in the whole World to its customers while Inmarsat will have the opportunity to provide Türksat services and satellite products to its own customers. Inmarsat’s L Band services are widely used specially in vessels. Within the framework of this cooperation, Türksat will have the opportunity to provide Inmarsat’s L Band and Ka Band services providing global coverage area as well as voice communication services over IsatPhone satellite phone.
