Türksat A.Ş. has put on a planetarium show for secondary school students in the Türkeli district of the Black Sea province of Sinop.
Approximately a thousand and 500 students participated in the show organized at the sports hall of the district between April 4 and 5. The show included 3D movies about space and astronomy. Türkeli Mayor Halil Dilek Özcan who took part in the event thanked the Türksat team for the activity and went on to say:
“We asked Türksat to bring the planetarium show tent to the district with the purpose of adding color to the dreams of our children and increase their interest and ambition about space. We wished to broaden the horizons of our students, maintain permanence in their education and increase their interest to explore the sky and space. This activity participated by approximately a thousand and 500 students will provide an important contribution to their education. We wish the next generation will have greater opportunities. I would like to thank Türksat A.Ş. who put on this performance to our students.”
