By emphasizing the importance of information technologies and cyber security infrastructure, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu said, “We are ready and on the job in order to protect our cyber boarders 24/7 with our domestic and national solutions developed by our Turkish engineers, which consists of a massive army of 4,040 people.”

In his post shared with the “digital awareness” tag from his Twitter account, Karaismailoğlu stated that remote access has become a part of our lives during the new type coronavirus (COVID-19) period. He recorded the following:

We continue to expand our country’s horizons with the spirit of homeland defense in order for it to also take its place in the field of cyber security and to further develop its cyber security ecosystem,  just as how a strong Turkey take its place among world leading countries in various fields.  

Karaismailoğlu noted that they aimed to remove any obstacle in the way of their aim for Digital Turkey and to ensure the security of citizens and the security of cyber homeland in the context of freedom of thought, democracy, and legalism.
