International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF), one of the top four defence fairs in the world, opened its doors for the 16th time.
IDEF, one of the world's largest defence industry meetings held under the auspices of the Presidency, opened its doors to its visitors at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Centre on July 25. Türksat took part in the fair as a stand participant.
The opening of the fair was attended by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Türksat Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. Kemal Yüksek, Türksat General Manager Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, Türksat Deputy General Managers Dr. Many local and foreign officials attended, especially Selman Demirel and Ahmet Savaş and high-ranking foreign guests.
The International Defense Industry Fair, attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with a video message, brings together 1,461 companies from 55 countries this year.
The newest products were showcased for the first time
As in previous years, many products developed within the Turkish defence industry are exhibited for the first time at IDEF. New versions of various previously developed products are also introduced at the fair. Our company's satellite fleet and services provided via satellite are also exhibited at the fair.
Within the scope of IDEF, various cooperation meetings will be held between local and foreign official delegations and participating companies. In addition, contracts will be signed for important projects that are on the agenda of the Turkish defence industry.
The International Defence Industry Fair, one of the largest defence industry meetings in the world, will end on July 28.
