With its strong broadcast transmission infrastructure via its satellites, Türksat provides all types of occasional (temporary) TV and radio broadcast transmission services across a wide coverage area.
Due to its geographical position, Türkiye lies at the intersection of two of the three global satellite communication ocean regions (the Atlantic and Indian Ocean regions). This enables our stations to access and operate satellites belonging to multiple satellite operators.
Leveraging this strategic advantage, we provide fast and flexible solutions for temporary broadcast demands — particularly for international-focused events, sports competitions, live connections, and special broadcasts — both from within Türkiye and abroad.
Through our large antennas and uplink stations located at our campus, we are able to:
- Receive broadcasts from satellites operated by other satellite operators and retransmit them to different satellites,
- Deliver broadcasts directly to user organizations via terrestrial infrastructure.
These transmission lines can be established either through fiber optic infrastructure or via a secondary satellite uplink chain.
Wherever your live broadcast takes place, Türksat SNG securely receives the signal from the field and delivers it to the correct satellite and destination.
