The number of subscribers in the Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) service offered by Türksat with the advantages of high speed, low cost and longevity exceeded 100 thousand as of April 2024. Türksat General Manager Hasan Hüseyin Ertok said that the target is to reach one million subscribers.

Türksat celebrated the number of subscribers receiving Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) service exceeding 100 thousand at Macunköy Campus. General Manager Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, Deputy General Manager of Cable Services Ahmet Selami Söğüt, Deputy General Manager of Information Services Ahmet Savaş, Deputy General Manager of Administrative and Financial Affairs Ömer Faruk Çöllüoğlu, Deputy General Manager of Satellite Services Selman Demirel and related directors cut a cake at the ceremony. General Manager Ertok stated that the GPON service was provided within the scope of studies carried out with the principle of customer satisfaction without compromising on quality, and said: "The number of subscribers to our Gigabit Passive Optical Network service, which is offered both as a new network and as a conversion of the existing DOCSIS network with the advantages of high speed, low cost and longevity, exceeded 100 thousand as of 25 April. The target is one million." Cable Services Deputy General Manager Söğüt congratulated the personnel who contributed to the GPON service and wished them continued success.
