A cooperation agreement was signed between Türksat and Azercosmos for the provision of Ku-Band satellite capacity for regions outside the coverage area. The agreement was signed by Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, General Manager of Türksat, and Samaddin Asadov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azercosmos.
Space Technology Conference (STC) 2024 Central Eurasia Space Technologies Conference started at Ankara JW Marriott Hotel. At the event, where the leading organisations of the region in the field of space technologies came together, the "Cooperation Agreement for the Provision of Ku-Band Satellite Capacity in Regions Outside the Türksat Coverage Area" was also signed. With the agreement signed by Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, General Manager of Türksat, and Samaddin Asadov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azercosmos, Ku-Band satellite capacity was provided in regions not covered by Türksat. Türksat General Manager Ertok wished that the agreement would be beneficial for both companies and hoped to increase their cooperation.
