The 3rd Satellite Model Competition, held for the first time in Turkey between university and graduate students, will be realized between the dates of 20-23 September 2018 with cooperation from Turkey Technology Team.
The 3rd Türksat Satellite Model Competition will be held within the scope Teknofest Istanbul Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival along with the partnership of Istanbul’s New Airport (İGA).
During the competition, students will be given the opportunity to apply the actual construction process of satellite systems by using the “design it, make it, fly it” model. They will also be given the opportunity to share experiences with different university teams as well as be given the opportunity to talk with institutions, companies, experts, and engineers of the sector.
At the end of the competition, team leaders and members that place in the top three will receive gift cards to be used at technology stores (1st place 2,000 TL to each team member, 2nd place 1,500 TL to each team member, 3rd place 1,000 TL to each team member).
