Türksat A.Ş. took its place with its innovative solutions for the sector at the 1st Global Air Cargo Summit held in Antalya with the participation of more than 500 civil aviation authorities, airline companies and aviation industry representatives from 80 different countries. The "1st Global Air Cargo Summit", organized in cooperation with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the General Directorate of Civil Aviation and being a first in this field, started in Antalya on April 9, 2025. The opening of the summit was held with the participation of more than 500 civil aviation authorities, airline companies and aviation industry representatives from 80 different countries. At the event, Türksat's satellite solutions in aviation attracted great attention from the participants.
Delivering the opening speech of the summit, Türksat Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Civil Aviation Prof. Dr. Yüksek said that Türkiye has made significant developments in civil aviation and has become one of the most important centers of the global aviation network. Informing that they, as the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, are in a significant transformation process within the framework of "a new civil aviation approach", Yüksek said, "We are making Turkish civil aviation compatible with the requirements of the age with the training, content and products we have developed. With these initiatives, we have increased efficiency, safety and security in the aviation sector." he said.
