Strategic Agreement Between Türksat A.Ş. and Oman-Based IMTAC

Within the scope of the “OMNEX 2026 Oman–Türkiye Business Forum and International Trade Fair” held in Muscat, the capital of Oman, a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Türksat A.Ş. and the Oman-based company Industrial Management Technology & Contracting LLC (IMTAC).
Organized to strengthen economic and trade relations between Türkiye and Oman, OMNEX 2026 opened its doors in Muscat. Following the opening ceremony—attended by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rüstem Minnihanov, Deputy Minister of Trade Sezai Uçarmak, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the İlim Yayma Foundation Bilal Erdoğan—a signing ceremony was held between Türksat and İMTAC.

-Digital Cooperation Protocol Between Türksat and IMTAC

At the ceremony held after the opening speeches, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Türksat A.Ş. and IMTAC, one of Oman’s leading technology companies. The MoU, signed by Türksat General Manager Ahmet Hamdi Atalay and IMTAC CEO Faisal Ali Al Tamimi, establishes the initiation of technology sharing and joint project development processes between the two institutions. Türksat Deputy General Manager for e-Government Orhan Koca and Director of e-Government Business Development and Project Management Fatih Işık were also present at the signing ceremony. At OMNEX 2026—where themes such as defense industry, aviation, border security, and critical infrastructure security are discussed—Türksat will showcase its e-Government, smart city, and digital transformation solutions, as well as satellite communications, cybersecurity, and smart system products. During high-level meetings to be held throughout the fair, opportunities for further cooperation between institutions will also be evaluated.
