The 7th Review Meeting for the Türksat 5A and Türksat 5B communication satellites took place at Airbus D&S facilities located in Toulouse, France on 10-11 February 2020, with the participation of officials from Türksat and Airbus D&S.
At the meeting, which was realized with the attendance of Türksat CEO Cenk Şen, Vice President Hasan Hüseyin Ertok and personnel from the Satellite Program Directorate, matters such as equipment level test and delivery status, production stage, satellite level test processes, launch and the status of the current schedule were reviewed.
The Airbus Satellite Assembly, Integration and Test Center, where the Türksat 5A and Türksat 5B satellites are currently being produced, was payed a visit in order to see the current stage of the satellites on the production line.
The Türksat 5A satellite is planned to launch sometime in 2020, where as the Türksat 5B satellite is planned to be launched into space in the year 2021.
